By helping over 1 million users adopt AI in their daily work ‘Writer’ was a vision that materialized after May and Waseem spent 10 years of solving complex language-based problems. Let's take a deeper look into Writer’s AI's content detector and how its functionalities have managed to etch a place as one of the most sought-after tools in the category of free AI detectors.

Writer comes with a host of features that make it stand out from its competitors. The general aim is to make a user-friendly UI and add in features that decrease the steps involved.

As a part of this goal, the first provision is that you can add the target website’s link to check if the content created is AI-generated or not. There is also the option to paste up to 5000 words onto the editor. the volume of content that is considered can accommodate a large guide or even two to three blogs.

The tool is free with the only limits set on the quantity of the input. However, there were some interesting finds when the tool was put to the test with the three models of ChatGPT and Google Gemini.

Upon testing Writer's AI detection tool with content created purely by ChatGPT 4, the model is incapable of detecting AI-generated content. As per the readings, 86 % of the content is Human-generated, which is incorrect.

While the tool strives to add a good set of functionalities to make it user-friendly, the tool itself is incorrect while providing output. there are better tools available like HireQuotient's AI detector which is far more accurate with a higher limit of input of 25000 words. Moreover, No signup, and the tool is absolutely free. why not give it a go and judge for yourself?
