Controller Job Description
Location: In this role, you have a hybrid work module, i.e. 3 days - work from office.
Overview: We are seeking a talented Controller to join our team to excel in collaborating with our clients to manage the progress of their business accounting maintenance, projections, and month-end close plans while monitoring for accuracy and efficiency.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial activities including accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications:
Required skills:
- Ten or more years of professional accounting experience
- Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis
- Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting
- Experience in managing payroll, with a focus on streamlining accounting processes
- Exemplary history of financial project management
Preferred skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or related field
- Five or more years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager
- Professional certification, such as CPA (certified public accountant) or CA (chartered accountant)
Salary Compensation Range:
The base salary range for the Controller is USD 120,000.00 to $145,000.00 per year
