Key Responsibilities

Barista Job Description
Location: Denver, CO
Overview: We seek a focused, detail-oriented, and service-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a wealth of experience within the service and barista industries, the ability to use various types of drink machines and a good general knowledge of coffee. The role's focus is to be the first point of contact for customers, taking their orders and delivering them to a high standard and in line with their expectations.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
- Thorough understanding of food preparation through on-the-job training or a food service course. (Note: Can attend barista training sessions to attain certification and recertification.)
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Ability to read and understand written and oral communications.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
Skills and Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
- Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills.
- Ability to walk, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of operating equipment (e.g. Espresso machine, oven, microwave, dish machine, grill, register, etc.).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Able to handle food and hot beverages.
- Must be able to lift, push, and carry various items (bags, boxes, etc.):- Lift up to 20 lbs. and frequently up to 30 lbs.
Salary Compensation Range: The average base salary range for the Bookkeeper is $15.00/hr + tips.
