We are looking for a diligent, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Account Payable Clerk. Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Managing all accounts payable functions, such as monitoring and responding to multiple email inboxes.
  • Reviewing and posting accounts payable invoices to accounting software and creating aging reports for client approval.
  • Collaborating with clients on vendor payments and issuing payments as necessary.
  • Reconciling vendor statements with accounting software to ensure all credits, returns, and overpayments are accounted for.
  • Completing vendor credit applications and managing vendor relations regarding payment information and invoice discrepancies.
  • Recording and reconciling credit card accounts.
  • Review transactions for unusual activity or potential fraud and communicate any findings with management.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance, Accounts Payable preferred.
  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas is preferred
  • Experience with financial reporting requirements
  • Experience with Accounts Payable, general ledger accounting, accruals, prepaid expenses, and reconciliations
  • Work history that demonstrates stability, progressive responsibility, and willingness to accept new duties

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other finance software and products  
  • Experience with international currency invoices
  • Understanding of global collaboration dynamics in a matrix and remote organization
